i cant log in to my gmail account with my powerbook (osx 10.4.2). can login ok from a pc and from my imac. a while back i lost my internet connection whilst logged into gmail - im not sure if that was directly before the problem began, but i think it was. gmail just tells me 'loading' and in the url bar switches between three urls, then tells me 'safari can't open the page' NSURLErrorDomain:-1005

these are the starts of the three urls it switches between:

http://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=html&zy=l...................
https://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLogin?service=.............
http://mail.google.com/mail/?auth=...................

assuming you're using safari, have you tried using the 'reset safari...' option from the app menu? it usually solves things like that for me. just a suggestion, hope it helps
