Hi! I recently upgraded to Tiger from 10.2.8 and I don't regret it a bit. However, I experience a minor bug that is starting to annoy me, and that I didn't find any info about so far.

When the cursor hovers over a link (be it in Safari, iTunes, etc), it changes itself from an arrow to a "pointing hand". At the precise moment that this transformation occurs, a bigger cursor quickly blinks where the pointer is. It only appears for a split-second and contains noise/artefact. It is more noticeable over a dark background, otherwise you almost don't see it. In fact, it took me a while to figure out it was a cursor!

It appears to be the same size as the Large size cursor option in the Accessibility preference pane, but the settings seem fine and changing them didn't solve the problem. Here's a rough Photoshop mockup of what the problem looks like, although it is less visible in real life because the extra cursor only flashes briefly. The noise is also more "horizontal".

I think that something went wrong when you did the Archive&Install procedure, if that's what you did. If this is the case, back up all your stuff and reinstall Tiger.

Yeah that's what I did. I think I will tolerate the problem if I have to reinstall everything.. Perhaps I'm gonna try to create a new user to see if it persists.
