I have WMP and VLC installed and it's defaulting WMV files to VLC, but I'd like it to default to WMP, how do I do this?

Pick any WMV file and choose Get info from the File menu. In the information window that opens you see 'Open With' and using the pull-down menu choose the player of your choice. Then press the 'apply to all' button which is situated directly beneath the pull-down menu. All done.
