Hey guys, how do i make spotlight search every single folder, like the hidden ones such as /usr and /bin, i know u can show them in finder but that reveals all these nasty looking files with .ds_store files everywhere
To add additional locations to Spotlight's index, you need to use mdimport at the Terminal; the best user guide to using mdimport I have found is this Macworld Secrets article.
