hi all

i just installed my 80gb into my pm sig.
i partitioned it into 2 (one for the system, 1 for everything else) and now im really annoyed. i would rather have it in just one partition because im a minimalist and the extra partition clutters up my desktop and the non system one has nothing on it and i'd rather just have everything in one place. can someone help me?

Pop your Panther CD in, restart with the C key down and select the option to reformat the drives to one partition. You'll lose everything so be sure to back up.

On the other hand you can try iPartition but if that goes bad you lose your data. Might as well cut out the middle man and just do what the rest of us who went down this path - suck it up and reformat.

well, i'm sure that when you install panther, if you have a hard disk larger than 20gb, you have to have an os x partition in the first 8gb of the drive....

and when i tried to install os x on my imac with the same drive, installer told me it wasnt partitioned right.
