As you no doubt know, you can start a slide show in Tiger by selecting some images, right clicking on them and then selecting "Slideshow." I was wondering if there was any way to start a slideshow of all the images in a particular folder just with one click (perhaps by adding a script of some kind to the toolbar). Any ideas?

I'd like to know too. Why Apple do not put an icon in Finder toolbar??

There is already a slideshow option in the Finder's Action button. Simply select the photos you want to view, pull down the action button and select Slideshow. (by the way--the action button is the one with the "gear" on it)

See this thread: http://forums.macnn.com/showthread.p...nder+slideshow for how to get a button in the Finder toolbar that plays all images within a folder in a slideshow, it's pretty handy.

Yes... But that's the same as right clicking. It still requires you to select the images, click the action menu and select "Slide Show." I want to be able to do it in one click, without selecting the photos manually.

The script above seems to work fairly well, although it does take a couple of seconds to startup. Thanks, monkeybrain.

My solution can be accomplished with one click, which is all you asked for originally. Now you're adding new requirements...
