I'm trying to look up images of patents on the uspto.gov site and have run into a problem.
In Safari, the TIFF loads in Quicktime, but it's at 100% of it's size but the viewport is not, so you have to scroll all over in order to read it.

Now, the first time I tried to load this same link in Firefox, it worked perfect, scaling the image to the size of the viewport.
However, subsequent tries with Firefox, only the top of the TIFF loads.
So I'm searching for is a way to force Safari to scale the TIFF down or a way to get the Patent and Trademark office to get their heads out of their patented orifices and support browsers other than Internet Explorer for windows as something other than a redheaded stepchild.
I'm thinking that might not be possible...
Any ideas?
