I've been wondering about this... When an application is a 'Universal Binary' , does that mean it would run on the new MacBook Pro and iMac at the said approximate of '4x' faster??? Or does it mean that it's better than Rosetta but not yet fully 'optimized'. I always get confused about this as I remember back in the recent 'day' when things were either altivec enhanced or what not.. Sigh.. I'm just trying to sort things out before I make my buying decision over the summer.
Still need VPC of some sort, and would like to have Adobe and MS Office Apps ready. If anyone has any input on this whole universal binary thing that would be great!
