i figure this i the proper forum. i mean, the Dock *is* an application..so...
anyways, I can't find anything and I doubt it's possible but I was curious to know if it's possible to make the dock more or less sensitive to how close the mouse is to the threshold that makes it appear?
I like the idea of having it at the top, at the menu bar, but you have to put your mouse on the edge of the menu and you can't just shoot your mouse up to the top edge of the actual screen instead, making it more cumbersome.

Actualy I think it should be in the OS forum.

I don't think what would want to do is possible, I would suggest putting it on one of the edges.
FYI it is possible to Pin the dock to a corner of you screen if thats easier for you.

Just google dock pinning.
