I was going to try Quanta, I don't know how to install it...



I obviously don't know any linux commands... I see they have make and other linux commands.

Please advise and keep'er simple please.

Can you remove that link please and replace it with one that points to the home page of the project instead? It isn't good form to provide a link that initiates a download on other people's systems when they aren't expecting it (and especially so at the moment with the huge security hole in Safari/Finder).

From the sounds of it you would be better off looking for a native OS X app. Quanta Plus will be run in X11 and not native.

If you want to use it, install fink and go from there - http://fink.sourceforge.net/

I installed fink, download and unpacked Quanta. The Quanta folder is there with all the make...and so on files. So how do I install Quanta? Mac 10.4.5
