g’day:

i’ve bought an australian G4 iMac second-hand (from a friend) and find that it won’t play australian DVDs

message says:

DVD-Video disc region code does not match the drive region code. - You cannot change the region code for your drive.

i can always use VLC so it's more annoying than critical

any help out there?

Which drive do you have? It may be possible to update the firmware on it to a region free version. Also, check out the forums here.
