Can I really install tiger on my ibook g3 500 mhz dual usb with combo drive(plays dvds).
To be able to install tiger i have the following tools:

Ibook g3 500mhz combo drive

Imac g5 2.0 ghz super drive

Tiger Install DVDs that came with Imac

What are the possible methods to realize this install with these tools?

Thanks for your time and help

Your license doesn't permit you to install Tiger on the iBook, using the install DVDs that came with your iMac.

You have to have a retail copy for that.

By far the easiest thing to do would be to boot the iBook in FW target disk mode, then clone the iMac to it.
