Hi all.

i have recenly been upgrading my mac and i replaced my *sigh* PC cd drive and accidently made the cd drive a master on the same bus as the hd.

when i start it up it has a big tantrum...

but if i screw up with macs...

nothing.
must be a firmware thing.

god bless Apple Open Firmware.

And I've noticed that if I overclock a beige/b&w G3 it simply won't start up, or if i overheats while running it warns me. Instead of just frying like a PC would. I like it.
