I had some problems with my airport express tonight and as a part of the troubleshooting I erased the airport keychain entry. Since then, my other keychain entries have stopped working (3 pop email accounts in Mail and my iChat aim account). I erased the other troublesome entries - 3 pop email accounts and iChat - and manually reentered them, each time checking "Remember this password in my keychain." However, since then keychain will not remember any of these entries. I have tried verifying and repairing the keychians in keychain first aid, but it has not helped. I tried repairing permissions and restarting but it had had no effect. Also, when I look at the preferences in Mail or iChat, the passwords are not listed.
I've searched here and on apple's discussion forums, but have not found anything that pertains to what appears to be a system-wide problem.
As a final test, I tried erasing one of the email accounts and then reentered the account information, but the keychain still does not remember the password.
If anyone has any ideas, I'd greatly appreciate it.
