Safari and Mail crash when changing network settings

The last week or so whenever I change my network settings (I have several profiles - Ethernet, Wireless, Home, Work Etc.) Sarai and often Mail crash. I can't hink of any changes I've made. Anyone got any ideas what may be causing this?
