On a blue and white G3 I've inherited here at the U of U, I decided to run System Profiler just to see what exactly I had inherited. Alas, System Profiler crashed. Crash Reporter popped up and offered to let Apple know all about it so such a tragedy could be prevented in the future. I clicked on the "Send Report" button, and Crash Reporter promptly crashed.
There are logs in my log folder that were generated by these crashes.
1. How to I get these bits of Mac OS X (10.4.6) working again? I seem to remember that deleting some sort of preference file would help. Repairing permissions did not.
2. Is there any way to submit the logfiles to Apple, since Crash Reporter seems unable to?
TIA,
