This is driving me crazy. Everytime I type open a new window, select something or click a menu, the computer tells me what is going on in that tedious robot voice. I didn't change any settings, but I went to the speech in the CP anyway. Nothing in that speech options cp is enabled.


How do I get rid of this? I just want it to shutup!!

Just turn off Voice Over in the Universal Access system preferences again.

Signatures

Our current signature rules give you two options:

an image (200x50px max, 10KB max, non-animated) and up to one line of text, OR
no image, and up to four lines of text.
In either case, blank lines do count, and lines must be of reasonable length so they don't wrap on most screens (think 900px browser window width).
