Question for the experts.

I've a PBG5: when I'm at home or on the road, I use the keyboard of the PB, but when I'm in the office I "dock" the PB and I use an external monitor, external keyboard and mouse.
The external keyboard is a normal PC keyboard (USB connector). This keyboard have the ALT key right next to the space.
By default, Mac OS X maps its ALT key (next to the SPACE) as modifier 'OPTION', and the windows key (on the left of ALT) as COMMAND. This is completely the opposite of what's on the PB keyboard, where the COMMAND key is next to the space and on its left the OPTION key.

So, every time I get in the office I've to open the control panel, and change the assignment of the Modifier keys to swap COMMAND with OPTION. When I go home, I've to do the opposite.

Is there a way/tool/something that can do this operation automatically?
Do you think is possible to do it through some bash scripts I can hack? AppleScript?
Is it possible somehow extend the concept of "Locations" to include keyboard settings too (and not only network settings)?
Any help is appreciated!!!

Gee!! Thanks Rickey939!

Rickey, unfortunately the scripts posted on that page don't work... I get this error:
"System Events got an error: NSReceiverEvaluationScriptError: 4"

when it tries to run:

click radio button "Keyboard" of tab group 1 of window "Keyboard & Mouse"

Since it's my first attempt to use AppleScript, I've no idea how to debug/find out what's the problem.

I also tried to remove that command (since there is no radio button called "Keyboard" on tab group 1 -- I'm running 10.4.6), but I get the same error also when executing:
click button "Modifier Keys..." of tab group 1 of window "Keyboard & Mouse"

Any idea?

I'm not sure, but hopefully the poster over on the Apple forums will be able to assist you further.
