I recently installed 10.4.6 update on my PowerMac and the GUI seems very very sluggish now. Expose` will get choppy with 4-5 windows open, where before I could easily have 20 open. the Dock icons will get choppy with almost any kind of background activity, and so on. Its very annoying and takes away from the experience, and like I said its a dramatic difference from before. This had happened once before back when I had first upgraded to Tiger from Panther a year ago. In 10.4.2 it seemed to be fixed and never occured again (even after a complete wipe and re-install of tiger later in 05). So I hoped maybe reinstalling Tiger might do it. But its still choppy as anything. Has anyone else run into this, any possible solutions
