Hi if anyone can help i would be very grateful

I have a file which has the names, email addresses,
mobile numbers and sales records of my company’s
employees. How could I only provide the names of employees to
team A, their names and sales records to team B and all
their details to team C.

I think i should divide the names, emails, sales records, and mobile numbers into 4 separate files first.

This sounds like a sed and/or awk solution. If you could provide a sample of at least one record, then I might be able to help you with it.

Sounds like something right out of "Classic Shell Scripting" (chapter 5).
