This is starting to really bug me. I may have a 2 folders open. If one is like half visible and the other half off the screen and i drag a file over it and dont instantly drop it it slides up the window and i always drop it in the wrong place. Sometimes im trying to drop into a folder and soon as i got hovered over it and let go the window moves up so it doesn't go in the right folder.
Any way at all to stop this. really starting to bug me.

This behavior is part of the spring loaded folders feature. It's not really something you can turn off, at least not that I know of.

You can turn off spring loaded folders in the finder preferences (or adjust the delay). Not sure if this will fix his problem though.

SLF turned off is much nicer.
We can still smack the spacebar
to make them open when we want.
