For some reason my computer started "unexpectedly quitting" all internet related applications several days ago. About three seconds after I click on the icon for Safari, internet explorer, Netscape, and AOL instant messenger I get the unexpectedly quits error message. This happens only when I am signed in as the Administrator. When I log in as any other user I can access the internet. Help! Thanks.

Have you repaired permissions?

This is just a shot in the dark, but I vaguely remember having a problem like this and I tracked it down to a corrupt com.apple.internetconfig.plist file in user/library/preferences. You could try trashing that (a new one will be created).

Deleting com.apple.internetconfig.plist in the preferences folder did the trick. Thanks for the tip!
