Hi
I'm planning to buy 13 inch MacBook (when in came out) because i don't want to carry heavy laptop around and i'm also planning to buy powermac (intel)

When I come home i want to sync everything from laptop to PowerMac and PM back to laptop in the morning as if i'm using same machine.

How can i do that?

Best app I have found for donig this is Foldershare (.com). Its a great app thats works on windows & mac, and you can pick and choose which folders you want it to auto sync. When both computers are hooked up to the net, the service will sync your folders for you, uploading and downloading them from each machine. Another cool feature is that if, say, your new PM is switched on at home and hooked up to the net, and you are somewhere without your MacBook, say a library etc, you can go to www.foldershare.com with any browser, log in with your email and password, and access all the files located on your PM! Very cool, I love it.

There are more than one solution to this. But if you are ready to pay $99/year, .Mac membership is a good choice. It basically sync. all your stuff and accessible from anywhere.

Another solution would be MySync. You don't need .Mac membership for that.

Here are some more info.
