When I'm typing it happens sometimes that I press caps-lock, and not being touch typer it is pain in the neck when I have to delete the whole line and retpe it again. On Windows I could enable sound warning, just a short beep whe I press it and that would do the job. However in Mac's universal access there is no option for this. Is there any script that would make this possible ?

I just turn the caps lock key off completely in the keyboard & mouse control panel - click the "modifier keys" button to see it.

Thanks Rickey, that's what I was after. Not perfect but it does work OK.

Gavin, regarding turning off the caps-lock, I'm not quite clear how to do it, could you give more details ? Thanks.

Also, download the freeware WordService so that you can select your mistyped text and convert it to lowercase/uppercase/sentence case as desired.
