is there a shortcut key command in tiger that calculates the size of the true files and not the aliases on a blank cd just prior to the burn? in panther the process was more wasteful with HD space, but with a 'get info' command you could at least know how much data was on the blank disc.

There's a button for that in the Get Info dialog for burn folders.
