Hello,

I am investigating the scenario of the softwareupdate. I understand that the protocol is as follows:
- The client initiates a request for the update.
- The server sends the client an xml file contains all the applications he can update.
- The client sends a list of it's applications with their versions.
- The server sends a list of updates if necessary.

My question is as follows:
Where can I find the program that responsible for checking the applications in the client and produces the list that the client sends back to the server.

Thanks in advance!
Revital
