Each time I startup my g4 dual 1ghz Power Mac, the desktop background image reverts to the blue swirly default picture. In sysprefs, I reset it to a folder of images I like, and set it to rotate every minute. All is well until I shutdown/restart, and then I get the default image again. I've trashed by desktop p.list in user/library/prefs, but no joy.

Any help would be appreciated.
