I've done a search and didn't come up with much that matched my problem. Spotlight won't search for me anymore. It won't even try. In an effort to reset the index, I tried dragging my startup drive to the non-allowed items in the Spotlight preferences, but it won't let me add anything to that list, both by dragging in or clicking the "+" button. I did the terminal command to reset it, which it did...and then indexed for less than a minute and still won't work. Is there anything else I can do?
