man this widget just plain sucks! the thing never works and when it does, the translation comes out all crappy when i compare it to babelfish.

is there a better translator widget available? i really need it for the translating portuguese. i'd rather not have to go to babelfish on a browser when i can dashboard it instead.

He has a point though, the translator widget is rubbish. I use babelfish instead now, but would prefer a widget. The translator widget just seems so slow, and you get no feedback whether it is looking something up or just doing nothing. The results are the same as babelfish though, since they both use Systran.

Babelfish has the advantage that it has a much cooler name. 'Translator widget' aint very cool.
