Hey everyone, I haven't been able to find anything on this. So I would like to know if I am the only one with this problem and if there are any suggestions out there. I take my ibook to school everyday and sometimes I leave it unattended.. still within my view but not staring at it and such. For really short periods of time might I add - i love my ibook. about 3 years with this now. So I would like to have that password protection enabled that asks for a password every time the comp wakes from sleep or from screen saver. However, a lot of times I would pull out my ibook and open it up in order to get ready to take notes but I Just sit there staring at a whirring HD and a black screen because the password box takes forever to just pop up. The problem is compounded with apps running in the background. This is really annoying so I have this turned off right now but for security reasons, I would like to have it on all the time. Does anyone have any suggestions?
