I'm Running the latest version of mac OS X (I dont know if that will help), and some how my finder icon get removed from the dock. does any one know how to get it back?

Try deleting the dock preferences file. (Then log out right away.)

happened to me just the other day I was like... whhhaaaa?

Just go into activity monitor and force quit the dock. It'll relaunch and be happy.

thank you. I actully restarted and it was there. some times when one removes an icon on the dock and restarts it comes back and you have to remove it again.
