Hello,

I would like a script (that I've already written) to launch automatically when any volume of a particular name is mounted on the desktop.

I'm sure applescript is capable of this, but I dont' know. Any help is appreciated...thanks!

I know how to check if the volume is mounted (and if not to mount it - this is if I wasn't using a CD of course but another volume), and I know how to launch the terminal from Applescript. I don't know how to make the Apple script always running in the background ("sensing" for when a volume of this name is mounted)

So I have a .term file, just want to launch it automatically when a certain volume is mounted.

I know that autorun has been disabled in OSX (so I couldn't put the script on the media itself) - wondering if there is a workaround.

Really don't want to have to double click the script! Are we cavemen?

Thanks again!
