Hey, Ive been having a big problem (because I watch a ton of video clips and stuff like that). Every time I play a video using Quicktime, I get video, but no sound. my computer volume is turned up, and so is the volume control on Quicktime. Just know I tryed playng a video through Itunes and it still will not give me sound, but I can listen to music fine. Thank you to any one who can help.

Smells like a codec issue? Does VLC play them ok? VLC can be a godsend if you don't feel like juggling half a dozen different codecs in QT to see what works.
The worst thing about having a failing memory is..... no, it's gone.
