Not sure if this is an OS X issue, or Canon i850 printer problem. The default number of copies in the Print dialog "Copies and Pages" pane is set at 10. I can't figure out how to change the default back to 1. This is a global issue and affects every program's print dialog.

Any help would be appreciated

Can you save it to "1" copy and then save the printer presets to see if it sticks?

I can change it to "1" but it always comes back as 10 when I print another documet... I don't see a "Save Presets" option.

Look amongest the menu options within the print dialogue window, you should have an option to save your choices.

Check your Presets... popup menu. If the default preset is set to 10 copies, make a new one set to 1.
