I have no idea when this happened. When I click on the Accounts icon, the panel says "Loading Accounts..." but never does, another click gives a blank screen. I've tried deleting the preferences and cache with no luck. I *think* this all started when I installed Share Points and created a user in it, rather than via Sys Pref > Accounts. My last effort was to delete all instances of that user, remove Share Points and empty cache / pref files and reboot. I may have repaired premissions, I don't recall, but I can try all this again. I've rebooted so many times, I could've sworn I heard the Windows chime.

I don't know why this worked, but I logged in as Root, removed the Accounts from Sys Pref by right clicking, then went to HD/system/library/prefrencepanes and double clicked Accounts.PrefPane

All is well again in OS X land.
