Hi,
When I burn a CD or DVD with the Finder I always have a problem. What happens is that I put in the CD or DVD and then the little window comes up asking what I want to do and I select open in Finder. Then I get a normal Finder-like window to which I can drag files to burn. So I drag a bunch of files to that window, and all the icons overlap each other since I dragged them into the window all at once. So then I change the view of the window from icon view to list view by clicking on the little button on the toolbar of the Finder window for the burn disc. Howwever after I burn the disc and put it back in the computer all the icons are still all on top of each other and I can't read the files names or anything. I've burned like 100 discs like this and its getting kind of annoying. Is there anyway around this? I just want it get it to remember the display info for how the files are arranged on the CD window before I burn it. I think this data is stored is a .DS_Store file, but do CDs have this file? Because it never seems to remember how to display things on the CD. Note: I never used to have this type of problem back when I had Toast, but I no longer have that software and need to use the Finder burning. Let me know if there are any solutions. Thanks!
