can anyone burn dvds from 10.4.7 anymore ?

I have not been able to burn backup anything since 10.4.7 on dvds it starts and begins the write on and poof instant coster.. Gone through 10 so far.. not fun not cheap..

No problem so far.
I just burned a 5.5GB DVD+R DL (a backup of my Parallels WinXP drive image) via the Finder a couple of days ago without incident, and about a dozen DVD-R discs with Toast 7.1 and Popcorn 2.0 in the last week or two.

Final Cut Pro Express version one no longer works. That's certain.
