Somethimes I restore my system partiotion from an image using SuperDuper! and after that the "open with" settings are lost. I guess that SuperDuper! doesn't save the files where these settings are kept. The same thing happens after applying Software Updates.

Is there a place where the "open with" settings (for different filetypes) are kept? I am trying to write a script that restores the settings without having to do this individually for each file type.

The settings are in the LaunchServices cache. It's possible that SuperDuper doesn't backup that file or files, I know that it purposely doesn't backup some system files.
