Is there a way to search for recent files?

I want to be able to find recent files in all my HD without having to look in each folder. Is there a way to do this?
14" ibook g4 /1,42Ghz/60Gb/1,5Gb RAM!

in the finder, hit command-F and select "created" and a time frame as your criteria for a search. save the search and you can check that folder any time you want to find the most recent files on your drive.
