I'm trying to make it so my system is completely invulnerable to an Archive & Install.

I have only one 3rd party kernel extension installed (in the System Library folder)

What would happen if I moved it to Users / me / Library / Extensions ?

They would stop working. And you'd have a folder Extensions in your user Library
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.
