All of the suddon the computer has been repeating everything i have been doing, and it is VERY annoying!!! I have no idea how this was activated or how to stop it. this MAY have to do with the fact that i silled a drink into my keyboard today, however the keys have been working fine after drying with a hair dryer. Thanks very much in advance.

In Tiger...
System Prefs, then Speech...
Text to Speech tab...
"Announce when alerts are displayed" - uncheck
"Announce when an application needs your attention" - uncheck
"Speak selected text when the key is pressed" - uncheck

If you have accidentally turned on speech recognition...
Speech Recognition tab...
Speakable Items - OFF
