There was a blackout and it messed up my computer every time i turned it on it would do the you need to restart thing and then text would come across the screen the final line was were hanging in here.
I tried re installing panther but it would say errors installing about half way through and then i tried to instal the older version and it finished but now i canot login it there are no user accounts and it automaticaly goes to other

What errors? Older version of what, Mac OS X (10.2)? Automatically goes to other what?

Sounds like there could be some drive catalog damage. I would get Disk Warrior.

yes mac osx 10.2 it has forgotten my accounts and when runs and logon screen comes on it automatically goes to others and there are no accounts

Sounds like you'll have to make new ones, hopefully someone else will chime in here telling you how to do that.
