Hello,

I was very annoyed to find that my movies folder has completely disappeared from my hard drive. I haven't accessed that folder probably for amonth and done a few system upgrades since then. Has anyone had any simialr problems with any upgrades? I have doen a security one and a quicktime one.

Does ayone know of any way of finding the folder again or recovering it? A file search does not show up any of the files, and if I try to open one through windows media player or quicktime it says it cannot find the file or it does not exist.

Any help would be appreciated, I've lost personal projects as well as a classic selection of films.

Well i have just been searching the forums and found that I think i may need to get the programme Data Recovery. The only thing is - i ran system optimiser last night thinking it might be able to repair the problem. The movie folder is still in the sidebar and it says the alias canot be found which makes me think it may have been moved somewhere rather than deleted. Any ideas?
