I have a bunch of old stuff in my preference panel, down in that "other" area, small controler programs from long ago.

how do I find them and delite them
like "mouseworks" "remote contrl" "earthlin k" etc

They're located in /Users/yourusername/Library/Preference Panes, as well as /Library/Preference Panes.

If the prefpane came with a driver, you might want to see if there's an uninstall package offered by the vendor.

You can also right-click (control-click) on its icon in System Preferences to delete them.
