Can't keep Spotlight from crashing

Spotlight will never complete indexing. I've used Spotless to remove the v.100 directory, and reindex from scratch, and I have also used the Terminal commands to delete all the Spotlight files. I have deleted the mds crash file as well.

All of this numerous times.

I archived and reinstalled 10.4.7 on my Mac Pro to no avail.

I thought to look in the Console log, and this is what I found for the last few lines (sorry about the word wrap). So, it's crashing dure to a problem having to do with TIFF importing, but I don't understand how to proceed

I'd really appreciate any help!
