My software update reccommended the above, so i obliged!! Now i cannot get on the apple site or ebay? I have followed it up on the web and cant find how I uninstall it. Please help my mac was running fine until this.
A security update did not break your internet, and there's no way to uninstall it without reinstalling the entire system. Try a different browser or a different user; the source of the problem lies elsewhere.
Have you checked your network settings? How about your cable/DSL modem, wireless base station or router? Do other computers on the same internet connection work? What about a simple reboot of the computer in question? Try all those first.
