Just discovered in software update:

Apple security updates

However, at the time of this post, the link above has no info on this update. SU only mention "AirPort." Might this have something to do with the infamous "MacBook WiFi Hack?" Hmmm...

Apple maintains the position that there was no "MacBook WiFi Hack".

Macworld: News: Apple updates strengthen wireless security

Apple has maintained that SecureWorks has provided no proof that Mac drivers are vulnerable in any way.

They did not supply us with any information to allow us to identify a specific problem, so we initiated an internal audit,” Apple spokesman, Anuj Nayar, told Macworld. “Today’s update preemptively strengthens our drivers against potential vulnerabilities, and while it addresses issues found internally by Apple, we are open to hearing from security researchers on how to improve security on the Mac.”

My PowerBook hung on bootup after the white apple screen, so after about ten minutes I forced it to restart, and now it's fine. Anyone else have problems booting after installing this?

I had a problem but I'm not sure if it is related.

After the update, I was surfing around for about 30-45 minutes then lost connectivity with my WRT54G router. Trying to reconnect was futile, until I tweaked back and forth on some router settings then I could connect...using the original configuration.

Before I tweaked on the router, I tried to reconnect and got connection errors, one of them that my router didn't support the selected security protocol (I use WPA2 Personal).

Not sure if it was the router or iBook, but it all works now in the original configuration.
