Is it possible in any way to boot 10.4.7 into target disc mode with a bluetooth keyboard? My wired keyboard stopped working some time ago and I haven't replaced it yet but now would very much like to use target disc mode!!!!

Sorry, that was a stupid moment. I'm actually trying to restart in target disc mode using my G5 which only has 10.3.9 installed - is this option hidden somewhere? I don't remember it showing up until 10.4 (but my memory isn't the best).

I'm not sure why it isn't working for you... It may not work on all Macs, however on my Intel Mac Mini I can boot into Target mode, Single User Mode, etc and it works just fine with a bluetooth keyboard.
Actually I just realized that this didn't work on my G4/533... I had always assumed it was because of the DLink USB-Bluetooth dongle I was using, but now I realize it may be that Open Firmware doesn't support this and EFI does???

I've read in a few places now that a bluetooth keyboard won't be recognized in such a way that allows it to activate any of the boot up commands (i.e. T for target disc mode, C for Boot from CD). I'm wondering if there is something that can be run in terminal that will provide a workaround and won't require me going and buying a usb keyboard.
