Hi all,
I don't know if this belongs here or in the hardware section. I've been making backups of my DVD collection as my kids have a nasty habit of destroying the DVDs. I rip them with Mac the Ripper, compress them with DVD2oneX, and burn them with Disk Utility. Anyway, the movies all come out great, and play on all my DVD players, however, they will NOT mount on my computer, any ideas why?
Yes, I've made sure in the Finder prefs that removable media is checked and that it should show DVDs and CDs on the desktop. I've repaired permissions, still no go. Any help would be great.
Why is this important? Because occasionally my daughter or son like to watch on the computer so they can be in the same room as my wife and I if we're using the DVD player.
