After I started to add album art to my iTunes library, I decided to tweak the album art screen saver to include more images on screen and flip at a faster rate. My Mac did not like this and has been crashing out of the screensaver pref ever since.

I have thrown away the preferences pref file and the desktop. Any other ideas?

Is there a pref (or something) that deals w/screensavers? I've looked all over my HD, and don't have a clue what is causing this.

If you haven't already done so, try deleting the com.apple.screensaver.iTunesArtwork.xxxx.plist file for that screeensaver from the ~/Library/Preferences/By Host folder as well.

Thank You!! I have my screen saver prefs back.

I did not know about the 'By Host' folder. What does that do?

To be perfectly honest, I have no idea other than it is a repository for these types of preferences. Glad that did the trick for you.
